My first day in Istanbul was a rainy one - only 10% rain was forecast, but we got 100% of it. We did a little shopping, and ate lunch at Çiya in Kadiköy. When the sun came back we went to Kanlica and enjoyed the beautiful view. It is very late and we have a full day tomorrow, so here are some photos - I’ll add links to things later.

Rainy lunch. I’m about to devour some lahmajun - flat bread spread with ground beef and spices - and Asli has a plate of assorted deliciousness.
